About Debbie
Some people dream of being doctors or lawyers, teachers or movie stars. For as long as I can remember, my dream has been to get people on stage. My cousins were my earliest coachees/victims, forced to rehearse and perform “The Sound of Music” for our parents every time we were all together.
As a mother of elementary school kids I created and directed a talent show, helping performers from age 6 to 66 to be confident on stage. For seven years, and beyond, I was known as “the talent show lady”, a moniker I cherish to this day.
In 2006, after more than 5 years teaching public speaking, English grammar, writing and other communications courses at a business school, I launched bespeak, and began my dream job. Since then I’ve helped hundreds of people, of all ages and vocations, present themselves and their messages with confidence, conviction and clarity.
Their speaking triumphs are my greatest joy. (Well, besides my family. And our dog.)
